This one was a full exterior overhaul - and the before and after difference is pretty hard to ignore. The house started out in a soft mint green with white trim. Clean enough, but nothing that really made it stand out. The homeowner wanted something with more personality, more presence. So we got to work.

We went with French Roast for the main body - a deep, warm brown that reads almost like a rich wood stain from a distance. The trim, window frames, and gable details were done in Black Caviar, which gives the whole thing a sharp, modern edge. That dark-on-dark combination against the metal roof ties everything together in a way the original color scheme just couldn't do.

Beyond the paint itself, this wasn't a simple coat-and-go job. We handled exterior renovations that included updating the trim and gable work, then reinstalled the gutters so everything finished clean and functional. Getting all those details right - the edges, the transitions between materials, the areas around windows - that's what separates a good exterior paint job from a great one.

Hawaii homes take a beating from moisture, UV, and the elements year-round. A fresh exterior paint job isn't just about curb appeal. It's a layer of protection that keeps water from working its way into siding and trim. Getting the prep and application right matters a lot here, especially on a home this size with this much surface area to cover.

The end result is a home that looks completely different - more intentional, more put-together. The French Roast siding paired with the black accents and that dark metal roof just works. It's a color palette that feels right for the island and built to last.
